Excellent software. Exactly what I had in mind while looking for a software to help me with sight reading. And it's configurability is also quite nice, you can begin at a very easy level, and progressively make it more tougher and tougher.

Great app. Simple to use! What I'd like is a way to zoom in/out the interface, to make things bigger on my high-resolution laptop. Please consider adding something like this ;)

Powerful application for notes learning. Perfectly works on Linux with a electronic piano via MIDI-USB cable.

Simple but brilliant and cross platform, the MIDI interface is just what you need. I am dying to see the developer take up the project again.

Excellent program - please consider coding it for iPad - there's nothing in the AppStore that can compete. I've only found 1 sight reading aid like Jalmus that can handle MIDI input and it offers a fraction of what Jalmus does in terms of functionality. I shall be using Jalmus from now on when not out and about!

www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOZldDJVh3Q using version 2.3 of Jalmus with java 7u7 I found a bug in Exercises> Reading score> Preferences change the time such as selecting moderate from the list and click on listen you may notice that the metronome is irregular at first. With previous versions of Java that does not happen. I have tested version 2.3 of Jalmus with java 6.0.23. I hope that the error will be corrected because they use an old version of java puts your computer at risk utilizzando la versione 2.3 di Jalmus con java 7u7 ho riscontrato un bug in Esercizi > Lettura della partitura > Preferenze cambiano il tempo ad esempio selezionando moderato dalla lista e cliccando su ascoltare si può notare che il metronomo è irregolare all'inizio. Con le versioni precedenti di java questo non accade. Io ho avuto modo di testare la versione 2.3 di Jalmus con java 6.0.23. Spero che l'errore venga corretto perchè utilizzare una vecchia versione di java espone il computer a rischi
