This is about managing multiple IP configuration of diffrent network connections of your windows computer. You can take complete backup of your current IP configuration of a Network connections. And use that at a time later, when you have activated another settings on that connection. This is useful when your machine is used on multiple network at different time. e.g. you are using your Laptop in your office which is connected to a LAN network with the IP Address 192.168.X.X. Now while you are at home you need to use your home Internet Connection or another LAN network for file sharing on that same Connection (say: Local Area Connection) with different IP configuration, and need to set new IP config. So if you once backup your office network configuration you will never need to worry about office network configuration. Its kept safe for a restore. Just restore that IP config when you reached office. 2. MAC Management. This is to Spoof (Change the original one provided by the manufacturer) MAC address for some special reason. You can easily change it by a few clicks. You can choose your preferred MAC Address in two ways - manually or randomly. ----------------------------- Minimum System Requirements ----------------------------- OS : Windows 2000/XP/Vista. (Not tested in Vista) Processor : Intel Pentium, Celeron or Equivalent. RAM : 128MB. (256MB Recommended). HDD Space : Minimum Free HDD Space (10MB). ---- FAQ ---- 1. IP-MAC Manager won't detect Network Connections ---------------------------------------------------- You must check your drivers. You should install proper NIC Driver before using IP-MAC Manager. 2. Unable to Create or Restore IP Configuration --------------------------------------------- Make sure that you have logged in with an Administrator user account and you have all the rights to modify your windows settings. 3. Unable to retrieve all NIC adapters of your computer ---------------------------------------------------- You must Enable preferred Network Adapter to view it in the Choose Adapter list.
