Requirements ------------- The current latest version is: ImageApp-1.0.0-alpha2.zip *** JDK/JRE 1.6 or higher *** Firstly you will need Java Advanced Imaging on your classpath. If you download the Java Advanced Imaging implementation from Sun and run the installer this should suffice. (N.B. Make sure it is $JAVA_HOME/jre/bin/java that you run NOT $JAVA_HOME/bin/java since the JAI installer puts itself under the jre). This needs to be JAI 1.1.1 although it may work on older versions. Contents of distribution ------------------------ Directory Description lib/ Contains the jar files used by the application examples/ Contains the example operations and a few sample images. licenses/ Contains licenses for jar files used bin/ This contains the scripts to run the application ImageApp Use for Unix / Linux / Cygwin etc ImageApp.bat Use for Windows based systems Running ------- To run ImageApp it should be just enough to execute the one of the scripts in the bin directory. Problems -------- ImageApp stores a log of events in the %IMAGEAPP_HOME%/imageApp.log. Try looking in this file to see if you can work out the problem. This file will contain more than the console window (as the log4j level is set to DEBUG). If you still have no joy then post a message on the forums and include your log files.
