Installation Windows Vista, windows 7. No special installation required for windows vista or windows 7 users Just unzip, unrar the GrabIT.rar to a folder named GrabIT. Run GrabIT.exe. Windows XP and earlier. It depends from the version may be you need additional windows components. If so please download the full setup ( Bigger ). Run setup.exe and follow the on screen instructions. You can accept the default installation path or change it to whatever you want. Run the program. Using the program The first time you run the program a directory named GrabIT will be created in c:\DocumentsAndSettings\YourUserName\ OR c:\users\ YourUserName\ It depends of the windows version. This directory is the path for saving the images. You can see the exact path in the Save_Path text box. It is better if you run the program maximized. Type the desired URL and hit ENTER or press the Go_To >> button. Wait for the page to load completely. Select the image type ( JPG, PNG,BMP ). If you select JPG you can adjust the quality. Finally hit the GrabIT button. Program will save the image with the page title as name. If more then one page has the same title then the program auto number the images. Eg. MyPage.jpg, MyPage(1).jpg, MyPage(2).jpg etc. In most cases this is the procedure. Some web pages has complex asp or js code or working with frames and sessions. If you have such a problem you can manual adjust the width or height of the image by checking the Custom Size. Known Issues a GDI+ error may be occur in windows 7 when saving JPG. This is O.S issue However you can still save with no problem as BMP or Download the hotfix from Microsoft.
