Hugin++

This is a fork of the Hugin project, a Panorama photo stitcher.
Hugin++ is linked with fastPTOptimizer (a fork of the libpano library).

When you have only a small or medium number of images and control points, the original Hugin does the geometric optimization in a fairly short time.

However if you have a large number of images (several hundrets or more than thousand) and many control points, the optimization typically needs much time (up to several days). With Hugin++ the time for the geometric optimization of large panoramas decreases (a speedup factor of 100 or more can be achieved).

Hugin++ is not linked with the original libpano library; instead it it is linked with the fastPTOptimizer library.
