HotelSoft

Written in Excel Vba, I think this is a very characteristic way of writing applications, suitable for stand-alone use, no installation required, with the power of Excel. And it's open source and free, which is appreciated.

HotelSoft 1.1 Licence HotelSoft is a free software.Permited for free of charge, to any person obtaining a copy of this software and associated documentation files (the "HotelSoft").Users can use this software as much as they want. But they can not modify it and publish it under their own name. HotelSoft is a msexcel vba software useful for hotels to maintain their room booking, food ordering,billing and checking stock, tour booking and tour billing. Save the HotelSoft.zip and HotelSoft.exe file in any folder. Then run HotelSoft.exe. It will unzip HotelSoft.xlsm file in a folder as per your choice. Two new options are added for simplification at the bottom of the worksheets mainmenu there are Unlock Worksheets (but with authorised password and Lock Worksheet option. To unlock and unprotect all the worksheets so that user can do some initial change and data entry to this package but after these do lock by using lock worksheets option. Then further continue it through menus not by unlocking again. By click on Room Booking button you will be directed to Room Booking Form. Here you have to select roomtype,no of beds,from date and to date (dd-mm-yyyy) format. Then Click Click Availability Click to display the specific type of room accomodation is available or not. It will display room no and room photo available. From the right side box of roomcode you have to choice the room by clicking on the room code. Then the other information will have to be filled below and finally click on Click To Book button for booking. By Click on Change/Cancel Booking only previous booked record for room no of that booked room will be or can be cancelled. Only other particulars of client such as name, address etc can be changed. After changing you have to click again on Click To Book Update button. For changing of room and date of staying you have first cancel the previous book record here. On the client's Name combobox select client's name then the clients booking details will be displayed on the text box below. Click the line containing room code,from date and book no then below the text box click on the button Click To Cancel. By clicking on Check In Out Button you will be directed to a form containing booking information of the clients. There you have to select client's name, booking records will be appeared on the text box of booking history. There you have to select the booking record and then click on radio button of checked in or checked out. On clicking accomodation billing button you will be directed to accomodation billing form. Here just you have to select client's name and then all the booking record will be appeared in that form. You have to put amount particulars and then you can update bill, correct bill, delete bill and print bill.Please note that paid and checked out status of the bills can not be rectified. Booking Register will direct you to BookReg worksheets, here you will get a detail register of booking with total amount paid and due. By Clicking Tour Booking button you will be directed to a form of choice car, tour route, date and time slot. Here you have to choice those and submit for book car for tour. Like room accomodation you can opt for tour billing, tour cancel and you can view and print of tour register with amount part there on. Food Master is for maintaining master records of food available in the hotel. Its name,code,price,stock,order,order for preparation is incorporated here. Food order is for customer order for food and after ordering food when the food bill will be prepared atomatically the order list will appear in the "Consume" worksheet against the client's order. In "FoodOrder" and "Comsume" worksheets there are add new,correct, delete and print options each separately. You can check food stock by clicking Food Stock button and you can display and print of Food Bill Register. This is just for sample the revised version will be available shortly.
