This is essentially a hardware-release with test-suite and building-howto. HerMIDI is a MIDI-interface for the Commodore64. It's connected to the Serial Port and as such it can be daisy-chained through disk-drives on IEC bus.
Designed for SID-Wizard 1.5 in the 1st place, but can be used with another applications too being an open-source project.

  • Synchron, Asynchron, Direct data transfer-modes.
  • Selectable packet-size (buffersize).
  • Doesn't clash with special 2bit fastloaders.
  • 25-byte buffer for MIDI-bytes till C64 requests them.
  • MIDI-activity display on the LED.
