  • HelloNzb is apparently the most desired Usenet client if you need portable app without installation. It requires Java, yes, but it pays that it works right out of the box on Windows and Linux.
  • Excellent work on this. I never expected to have such a hard time finding a good desktop usenet client when I switched to Linux (I don't like browser-based clients). Very thankful to have this. It works great
  • HelloNZB is free and, though it’s rather simple, it does get the job done. It even has a web server built into it, so you can access the program remotely, if you wish. It has other features built into it that make it surprisingly versatile, considering that it costs nothing and does a lot of what some paid options out there will gladly charge you for.. • Excellent for manual downloading binaries!
  • Small, portable and easy to use. Pity it stores the password in the windows registry in plain text though. Doh!
  • This software is: - easy - light - effective - portable So I rate it 5 stars.

  • HelloNzb is easy to use and looks nice. Also HelloNzb supports multiple languages. Although there is room for improvements: - Multiple server support. - Retry missing articles support.

  • I have been looking for a simple NZB usenet downloader for my wife. We used to use Grabit, however on windows 7, it seems to stop functioning periodically. HelloNzb is just as easy to use.
