Hearing Loss Simulation with virtual acoustics
This program simulates how speech, music, and daily noise may sound to a person with sensorineural hearing loss.
The program has been presented at the "Long Night of Science - 2013" at HTW Berlin.
Different degrees of hearing loss (moderate+tinnitus, severe) are simulated. Sounds can virtually be placed in environments with different acoustic properties (short/middle/long reverberation time) to simulate the various problems people with sensorineural hearing loss face everyday.
Note: Current version needs MATLAB to be installed on your PC. Standalone version might follow on request.
