HDSleeper is a small, menu-bar application for Mac OS 10.6+ that allows you to quickly sleep and wake your hard-drives.

It is primarily oriented towards users who have removed their DVD/Superdrive and replaced it with a hard-drive on MacBook laptops, which is often the case with SSD upgrades.
