GVoiceSearch is a tiny program that runs in the taskbar and turns your CapsLock key into a button to search Google via Google's Voice Search. It opens a new tab to google.com in Chrome, and starts listening so you can search via your voice.

I wanted a hotkey to do that, so I used Autohotkey to write a macro and convert it to an exe.

If it doesn't work, sorry I don't even know how it does work. I did a tiny bit of research to figure out how to write it, and that's as far as I got.

You would probably want to add it to your startup folder to have it start with Windows.

Features

  • Gets rid of CapsLock (while running).
  • Replaces Capslock with awesome Voice Search button.
  • Allows one-click Google Voice Search from any program.
