Notes On Use
------------------------------
GraVol is designed to calculate the volume of revolved vessels (such as wheel-thrown pottery)
based only on drawings.

How to set up GraVol:

For Windows 7 and Ubuntu 11.10(Linux) users-
There are executables available to simplify use. All you need to do is create a shortcut to the .exe file
held in the GraVol folder. With that shortcut, you can access GraVol from anywhere on your computer. These
.exe files currently only support 32bit operating systems.
(MAC OS X .exe coming soon)

WARNING: DO NOT REMOVE THE GraVol.exe OR GraVolBG.png FILES FROM THE FOLDER. THEY ARE INTERDEPENDENT.

For all those not running a 64 bit architecture, or are not using the above operating systems-
If you do not use either of these operating systems, you will have to run the file gravolGui.py through
your Terminal, Command Prompt, or if your OS supports it, double click on the file.

Supported file types:
Currently, the only supported file types are BMPs and TIFFs with the RGB color values.
