    came here to fix veeam invalid character in partition name how I did it command prompt as administrator run gdsik64.exe enter 0: to select the drive use i command to view current names of different partitions use c command to change the bad ones use w command to write those changes to disk restart windows

    Windows version (using Windows 10 Pro) Worked fine for my purpose. I wanted to rename a Windows boot partition that had garbage characters in its name, probably caused by volume cloning or adjustment to partition by a 3rd party program. The only bugaboo was that I didn't know what to enter when prompted for a filename. Turns out the file name for the boot disk was "0:" (without the quotes). Hope this info is helpful. Took me a while to find someone else's online notes on this. Smooth sailing from there. After changing the partition name, I had no issues at all when restarting Windows. As usual, your mileage may vary. Have good backups! Thank you!

    Use this tool for fix a missing mac boot partition. I installed windows 10 TP 10041 and created a MSR for UEFI errors and damaged the GUID for the mac partition. Repaired using this great tool and this guide: discussions.apple.com/thread/2367608?tstart=0

    This program has killed two (of three) partitions on my HDD. EDIT: Was able (and had do it successfully) to restore them, so i would re-rate it.

    excellent program,i successfully converted a 3tb usb drive to gpt without formatting or losing any of the 1.8tb of data i already had on it,as far as i know no other program on windows is capable of this,very handy indeed
