GNV Downloads... Read carefully... The "Looking for the latest version?" link ONLY gives you the most recent file of ALL files in the download directories. The GNV-IA64 and GNV-Alpha contain kits that install a complete older suite of tools. The installation of these kits as an upgrade will remove all files in the GNV installation directory and require you to install the updates again. These are older tools in spite of what the date indicates. The updated components are in their own individual directories and all are more current than the GNV-IA64 and GNV-Alpha directories. The updated components do not require the base GNV kit and by themselves able to run most configure scripts and resulting makefiles as long as you read the instructions in the release notes for each updated tool. See https://sourceforge.net/p/gnv/wiki/InstallingGNVPackages/ for more details. On 20 August 2015 it was pointed out that there was an issue with the AXP version of GNV 3.01 restored with incorrect Record Attributes which can cause confusion as the PRODUCT INSTALL GNV fails. A new kit with properly saved Record Attributes was created and uploaded.
