Pardus Topluluk Sürümü, TÜBİTAK/ULAKBİM’den bağımsız olarak geliştirilen bir GNU/Linux dağıtımıdır. TÜBİTAK/ULAKBİM’den isim hakkı için izin alınmıştır.

Topluluk sürümü ile herkese hitap eden, kolay kurulan, çok dilli ve kendine özgü araçlara sahip bir dağıtım yapılması hedeflenmektedir. Çalışmalarda Debian GNU/Linux alt yapısı kullanılmaktadır.

Pardus Community Edition, is a GNU/Linux distribution which is being distributed independent from TÜBİTAK/ULAKBİM. Permissions to use the “Pardus” name have been obtained from TÜBİTAK/ULAKBİM.
