Platform specific packages
Windows
Windows setup files look like:
- gnuarmeclipse-qemu-win64-2.3.50-201508051820-dev-setup.exe - 64-bits application, that can be installed on Windows x64; recommended.
- gnuarmeclipse-qemu-win32-2.2.92-201504041652-dev-setup.exe - 32-bits application, that can be installed on both Windows x32 and Windows x64.
Viruses
The new setup packages are build from sources on a GNU/Linux box, so it is very unlikely to be corrupted after being generated, and very unlikely for the public sources to contain any malware, but, as usual on Windows, a good anti-virus may help.
OS X
OS X install packages look like:
- gnuarmeclipse-qemu-osx-2.2.92-201504041609-dev.pkg - 64-bit applications that can be installed on Apple OS X 10.10 and up.
GNU/Linux
GNU/Linux archives look like:
-
gnuarmeclipse-qemu-debian64-2.2.92-201504041716-dev.tgz - 64-bit application, built on Debian 7 x64, that should run on most 64-bit GNU/Linux distributions;
-
gnuarmeclipse-qemu-debian32-2.2.92-201504041746-dev.tgz - 32-bit application, built on Debian 7 x32, that should run on most 32-bit GNU/Linux distributions.
Unpack and copy the openocd folder as /opt/gnuarmeclipse/qemu/2.2.92-201504041746-dev.
