User Reviews

  • To be judged eternally by infinitesimal mistakes is as immoral as it gets. Love me or be destroyed forever, sais YHWH, and yet he's not there to be loved. and demand his subjects to be by faith only. Yet it's claimed to love people through some book; as is sending some imaginary "son" which does magical impossible things that never happens irl. the real is finite; the irreal is infinite. The unreal is bigger than infinite. real is the physical; irreal is the possible. unreal is the incoherent, meaningless and insane. The idea have to be spread, because it's designed to take people in their vulnerabilities. It's filled with emotional provoking simple dramatical stories and useless "wisdom" and "parables" explained as if mysterious and yet simple just to make people feel special. I've gone through the bible countless times in many variations, and there is no way to know the absolute for a fairytale that's filled with contraries and inconsistencies. Give me a hint if you like to know more about those, i've done extensive mapping. imagine me hiding a note in the sand for my children in a forgotten language. i give them a specific instruction about not eating candy at a specific hour. and they end up interpreting things wrongly, or not being sure if it was actually me who hid it there. then they did so, and i threw them into a torture-chamber, and tortured them day and night until i died. would i be considered better or worse than the christian god? where people are loved by the imaginary being through suffering, demanded to be poor and told that sadness is better than laughter. to be subjects of abuse, and worst of all; to bet eternity on a imaginary idea. good luck dying with "nothing".
  • Two of the commentaries are especially useful, namely Quoting Passages and TSK.
  • Firstly I had to turn antivirus of as it saw Xiphos as malicious. Secondly I did not manage to get as far as reading the bible. My language (finnish) was not found through online scan. The program did not recognize the downloaded zip file. Finally I decided to settle for an english bible but still the program stated that I chose not to install any bibles. Usability of this program makes me wanna cry.
  • I have also used E-sword, and it is an excellent option for reading the Word of God as well, but one thing hindering me from using it more often, was the displaying of Greek [Koine] letters and their sizes. Upon installing Greek bibles and tools in Xiphos, I was more pleased at its way of being able to read those.
  • I am running Linux as a dual port on my Win 7 netbook. This Bible software is a snap to install and add modules to. My only problem is that the left side of the Xiphos window is cut off - I can't read the left panel content. Anyone know how to address this?
