where is gmac 10 i want to download i think its a very god project?

For Linux, a very locked-up distro. I would guess this is trying to mirror the closed aspect of Apple's OS as much as possible, but very frustrating to try to find the programs or settings you are looking for if you are a regular Linux user. I was looking for a Linux distro that imitated the look and feel of macOS fairly precisely while still maintaining regular Linux functionality. This is not it. This distro also does not feel as smooth or polished as other MacOS-like Linux distros I have tried. On the positive side, this 64 bit distro will run full screen on my antique (2006) HP desktop with an original Athlon 64 processor, something a lot of other current big-name 64 bit distros will not do, at least without some tweaking. I congratulate GMac's creators for trying to create something that fills a niche in the Linux world and a distro that seems like a fairly accurate clone of MacOS. This is just not the Linux MacOS clone for me.

I have been playing around with different distro's now for about 3 years looking for 'The One'. Recently I stumbled accros Elementry OS (Loki) and thought it was beautifully designed. Then, I saw a YouTube video of GMac. This is the most beautiful UI design I have ever seen on a distro, and as far as my opinion goes... it's THE ONE!. I use Windows, Mac OS and Linux all the time, and this distro makes me feel at home coming from a Mac. It is super easy to use, very friendly on the eyes, and has a great list of apps built in (after upgrading to LTS 16.04). A very well done to the developers for a supurb effort on this, and please... keep this distro going. PLEASE KEEP THIS GOING

I installed it in English, but some menu options appear in Spanish. The network button at top right doesn't work. Update crashes. The desktop interface is wrong, this is probably related to old configuration files, I've had the problem with other distributions. Looks very nice, but several basic problems which discourage me from persisting with it.

-insructions, how the instellation works These instructions are absolutely serious, even if somtemtimes may sound strange hec 1) Don´t start LiveCD, but start though with the second option to install immidiately THis takes awhile til the installer starts to workd. check the checkmars during installation. when the installer seems to be nearly ready, an errormessage occured,that therewas a mistake withh teh installation and the installer will no start a live dvd now jubilee make the same installation again, but this time vo a live DVD. Do the exacct procedures and you will hava a working os please commend

I did a video preview of Gmac in Virtualbox. Installed beautifully. No problems using it and has a fluid and snappy feel. Great job to the dev team!!

I try to install the System but it's not working. Running on a live USB Stick, but would like to install.... :-( Error message : Grub is not working....???

I try to install it on the U disk, can't format a U disk. Finally, I installed it on the U disk, I used another disk to format it, It works very smoothly, but, the icons on the docky aren't clear while they were becoming bigger.

Just installed this distro (May 23) and really liked the Mac look and feeling.Great release!!! -Note: the day after all my icons suddenly changed (while I was testing some system settings) to some more general icons. Now it hasn't the OSX look and feeling anymore. I hope somebody could help me fixing this.

Looks fantastic but we need some support options. I still don't understand why we can't have the global menu like on Mac OS X. Elementary OS (another Mac-like Linux distro) doesn't have it either. Other than that this is a pretty simple and clean OS. It feels snappier than Elementary OS so that is a plus for me. The including Evolution mail also works, while Geary on Elementary seems extremely unstable The only big negative is the name Gmac. I understand trying to get peoples attention by putting the word Mac in it, but the result is difficulty to do Google searches without getting results for Mac OS. I suggest yet another name change... plus i'm surprised Apple hasn't issued a cease and desist considering it has "mac" in the name but what do I know i'm not a lawyer.

I liked the April-version as long as it worked. Then I tampered with the system font settings and messed the icon set. After then trying to reinstall the system I keep getting a Grub error and grub will start a mini bash thing and wön't boot. Any other Linux will work. Please fix that, I really would like to reinstall GMac again, kantalup

es un buen sistema operativo aun que le faltan mas cosas como su centro de actualizaciones continuas a un asi esta mejorando aun se podria agregar el limpiador de software que venia en el pear os 8 y se podria agregar muchas cosas mas
