Fixed

  • AI descriptions of a pull or merge request work even when the forge's file list can't be read, and AI reviews still see which files changed: both list the files from the diff itself.
  • Cancelled CI runs on GitHub and GitLab can be re-run right from a pull request's checks, and on GitHub a pull request whose checks were cancelled shows as cancelled in the pull request list.
  • The Codex and Copilot model pickers in Settings and in agent sessions now offer the models your installed CLI actually has, read live from the CLI itself.
  • AI reviews and descriptions of large pull requests on GitHub and Bitbucket know when only part of the changed-file list could be loaded, and treat the diff as the source of truth. AI reviews of pull and merge requests also know when the conversation they draw on may be incomplete, including other AI reviewers' findings, GitDesktop's own earlier replies, and the author's notes for reviewers.
  • Keyboard focus stays in the project fields editor when you retry loading a board's fields, and the repository menu shows "Repository settings…" with its access status on a single line.
  • Connection problems are recognized even when host names or addresses resemble HTTP status codes, so GitHub and GitLab can offer the right recovery guidance.
  • Review runs include external findings when the Ignore option is no longer shown.
  • Webhook and secrets lists in repository settings label connection problems clearly. Error details label proxy and IPv6 failures as connection problems; sign-in checks report them as offline. GitLab merge request file lists say when they may be incomplete, and a merge request's line totals appear only once every file is counted.
  • Renaming or moving a GitLab project in the app keeps pushes and project actions working by updating the local origin remote to the project's new path.
  • Draft pull and merge requests now carry a Draft badge in My work.
  • When several GitDesktop windows watch the same Bitbucket repository, each push to a pull request gets one automated review.
  • Merging, closing, reopening, commenting, draft changes, approvals, auto-merge, branch updates, and starting or continuing a conflict resolution on a GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket pull request stay available while one of them finishes on a different pull request (a stack merge holds the rest of its stack until it lands), and a control held by an action on the same pull request says what it is waiting for or shows its progress. Checkout names the pull request it is checking out, a local pull request's Merge and Update branch name the branches they are waiting on, and Create stack and Add to stack hold every pull request being stacked, all of them still held after switching away and back. Auto-merge confirmations name their pull request, and the Create stack and Add to stack offers tell a viewer without push access why they can't be used.
  • After renaming a repository, settings and links show the new name as soon as the rename finishes, and the name field settles on the name the forge saved.
  • The AI review panel flags when the author's notes for reviewers or other AI reviewers' findings may be incomplete, so you can tell when the next review may be missing some of that context.
  • Review threads on GitHub pull requests now say when replies in a very long conversation could not all be loaded.
  • Repository settings forms hand focus back to where you were working when they close: saving, canceling, or going back from a webhook, branch rule, schedule, or ruleset form returns you to the button that opened it. Security settings keep Save and Discard in place, each explaining why it's unavailable, and a section that fails to load over a dropped connection shows just the connection problem.
  • Keyboard focus stays on the button you pressed to add or create something in repository settings while it saves, and the button explains that the change is being applied. Delete, Remove, and Unprotect buttons in repository settings, such as those on webhooks, variables, branch rules, and rulesets, now tell screen readers what they act on.
  • Buttons that save, update, rename, test, re-send, re-check, or create something in repository settings keep keyboard focus while they work and explain what is in progress, and Cancel and Discard say when a save is still finishing. A Bitbucket pipeline variable keeps showing the value you just saved.
  • Buttons in repository settings that can't act yet now say why: there are no changes to save, a field needs a value or has one that won't be accepted, or the typed confirmation doesn't match. Closing the Dependabot setup dialog returns focus to its row.
  • Staging a conflicted file that still has conflict markers asks first, from the row's + button, the right-click menu, Stage all, or the command palette, so markers can't reach a commit unnoticed. Files whose markers you've removed stage without a prompt, except files that can't be scanned (binary, very large, or unreadable), which always ask.
