Georget 1.5.1
Changed
* Tighter text boxes, better distribution of labels
* Improved algorithm for locating cities and towns in immediate vicinity of maps and drawing them

Georget 1.5.0

Changed
* Bug when producing GTX files from a file not containing any photos fixed

Georget 1.5 beta

Introduced
* Option to use 3 arc-second data to patch gaps in the 1 arc-second data when converting *.dt2 files
* Icons for start and finish points can be selected and seen as thumbnail images
* Speed distribution graphs are now colored, speed v time/distance graphs are colored with the same color scheme
* Slope graphs have a colored curve
* Profile graphs are colored with the same scheme as the contour maps
* Combined altitude and speed v distance graph is produced, automatically recognises which of the two y-axes is larger and places the more extensive axis on the left
* Adding multiple time zones at once is supported
* Choice between most recent file version and all files
* In NMEA view, checking the Start/Finish checkbox enables/disables the label input and symbol selector
* On submitting NMEA files, empty start/finish labels are recognised
* Default sampling rates for NMEA files are saved when changed
* Option to invert file selection for KML/NMEA/GPX files
* KML files generate heading and speed values (v times and distances) which is included as extended data (for easier extraction as statistical data and compatibility with other programs such as VOLPE)
* Inclusion of extended data is backwards compatible for data produced by Georget 1.0; extended data is produced by the "Congruence" function if it is not already present in the file
* Manual file correction (altitude) is now available. Since only really altitude needs to be corrected if SRTM or GPS data are corrupt, this is the only feature that is fully supported. Will interpolate altitude, and show corrected slope values by pressing "i" in an altitude field; only active when one file is selected in KML view
* Practically lossless conversion kml -> gpx -> kml (includes start and finish points, photo locations, icons), typically < 30 ppm difference
* Map tracer function allows tracks to be traced from topo maps into GPS data and saved; automatically recognises the extent of track marks (dashes, dots) and calculates the mean position; only active if Imagick and paper.js are loaded, and no files are selected
* JQuery is required

Changed
* File sorting is case insensitive
* Directory selection proceeds via ajax -> smoother experience
* Status behaves as a tab which is visible during processing, switching back to the files and directories tab on completion
* While processing no tabs can be clicked on and all but the status tab is visible
* Code simplified when adding, removing, or moving time zones
* Changing time zone order/composition is followed by all time zone selectors; order/composition reverts to old values unless saved in Admin
* Most statistical graphs have been enlarged to twice the size, and the resolution increased to 600 dpi
* Saving admin options no longer requires reloading the program, but is an option immediately after saving
* Islands now show automatic altitude coloration, shading and contours, names are proportional to size
* Improved algorithm for placing lake and shoreline names also takes into account position and size of islands, draws unnamed islands
* Algorithms for calculating speed in all speed graphs are identical
* Speed distribution graphs now correctly display all non-zero speed values
* Distribution of place name sizes/fonts improved for legibility
* Much improved fly-to and fly-from sequences in tours
* Altitude smoothing algorithm is split into two parts – one, a complete smoothing of the whole array, and secondly plotting the altitude and slope points
* Altitude smoothing is applied via the same algorithm for both ascent/descent summary statistics and slope/altitude plots
* Ascent and descent are given also as metres per kilometer, percentage and angle (degrees)
* Joining files now updates the summary table, so the joined files no longer have to undergo congruence. Also, extended data is updated
* File lists are updated when new files are produced
* Features file is only loaded if it is present

Removed
* Option to convert water body data (*.dbf files)
