What's New
- New: MCP support. AI agents can now drive GenOffice over the Model Context Protocol, two ways:
genoffice mcp— the bundled CLI serves every command as MCP tools over stdio, plus a guided flow for building presentations. Works with Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor and any MCP client; GenOffice does not need to be open.- A local MCP server inside the app lets an agent edit the Word document you have open, live. Contributed by @ZKelvins99.
- Settings → Integrations now walks through CLI and MCP setup with copy-ready commands. The README shows Claude Code building an 8-slide deck through MCP.
