genealogydb Files

To install a deb version of the genealogydb software, download the deb version
desired to some folder on your local computer.  Open the linux file browser by
selecting menu->places->home folder.  In the linux file browser, go to the
folder where the deb version of the genealogydb software is located.  In the
file browser, right click on the deb version of the software and select open
the deb version of the software with the gdebi-installer program.  When you do
this, you must be logged in as the primary user on the system and you must enter
the primary user login password when prompted to do so.

Version 1.3.0 adds a new data type to the genealogy database.  It adds the
parent information data type which permits specifying adoptive parents in
addition to natural parents for a person.  This version also adds new data
checking to improve the database quality.
