Setup for Windows systems
--------------------------

If you want to install the giServer on a Windows system, we suggest to use the giServer_x.x.x_x64-Setup.exe for 64-bit Windows or giServer_x.x.x_x86-Setup.exe for 32-bit Windows.
These setups can install the giServer as a windows service. 


Platform independent installation
-----------------------------------------

If you want to run the giServer in a non-Windows system, you can use the giServer-x.x.x_platform_independent.zip archive. 


JavaDocs of the giServer-API for development

You can download the current JavaDocs as a single JAR archive (giServer-x.x.x-x-javadoc.jar)
