Actualización del módulo de teclado (Keyboard Tab)

La pestaña Keyboard del gabeeOS Control Center incorpora ahora un panel avanzado desplegable con parámetros adicionales del sistema de entrada. Cada ajuste se guarda automáticamente en el archivo de configuración correspondiente, sin intervención manual.

Opciones añadidas

• kb_variant
• kb_options
• kb_model
• kb_rules

Además de la selección mediante listas completas de variantes, modelos y reglas, el módulo incluye un campo de búsqueda integrado, lo que permite filtrar rápidamente las opciones disponibles.
Esta mejora unifica la gestión del teclado entre sesiones Hyprland y futuros entornos X11.

Nuevo módulo: Timezone

Se añadió una pestaña dedicada a la configuración de zona horaria, permitiendo elegir la timezone del sistema desde una lista completa de regiones y ciudades.

El módulo incluye también un campo de búsqueda, facilitando la localización inmediata de cualquier zona horaria.

Los cambios se aplican en tiempo real y actualizan:

• La hora mostrada en Waybar
• Los procesos y servicios que dependen del timezone del sistema

No requiere reiniciar Hyprland ni editar archivos manualmente.

Keyboard Module Update (Keyboard Tab)

The Keyboard tab in the gabeeOS Control Center now includes an advanced expandable panel that exposes additional input configuration parameters. All changes are written automatically to the appropriate configuration file.

Added options

• kb_variant
• kb_options
• kb_model
• kb_rules

In addition to full selectable lists for each parameter, the module provides an integrated search field, allowing users to filter and locate options quickly.
This update ensures consistent keyboard configuration across Hyprland sessions and future X11 environments.

New Module: Timezone

A dedicated Timezone tab has been added, allowing users to select the system timezone from a full list of regions and cities.

The module also includes a search field, making it easy to locate any timezone quickly and efficiently.

Changes are applied immediately and update:

• Waybar’s displayed time
• Any processes or services that rely on the system timezone

No manual file editing or Hyprland restart is required.

He creado un nuevo script gráfico propio para Hyprland para modificar el layout el teclado.

Nuevo script: gabeeOS Control Center (Hyprland)

• Centro de control gráfico para Hyprland.
• Permite modificar el layout del teclado desde una interfaz unificada.
• Escribe automáticamente en hypr-input.conf y sincroniza con la sesión activa.
• Se añadió el archivo de configuración: ~/.config/hypr/gabeeos/control-center.ini

Mejoras en kb-layout-hypr.sh

Normalización de layouts (reescritura completa)

• Se muestran códigos cortos para layouts conocidos: latam, es, us.
• Para layouts restantes, se utiliza el nombre del idioma sin paréntesis: Swedish (Sweden) → Swedish Swahili (Kenya) → Swahili
• Eliminados recortes fijos de caracteres.
• Eliminada la truncación arbitraria: ahora se refleja el nombre completo.
• Salida uniforme compatible con Waybar y gabeeOS Control Center.

Integración Waybar → Control Center

• El módulo custom/kblayout permite abrir el Control Center mediante clic.
• El scroll y clic secundario mantienen la rotación de layouts existente.

Unificación del backend (Hyprland + X11)

• Detección automática del entorno.
• Nomenclatura unificada del idioma.
• Cambio de layout mediante:
• hyprctl en Wayland

I created a new graphical script of my own for Hyprland to modify the keyboard layout.

New Script: gabeeOS Control Center (Hyprland)

• Graphical control center for Hyprland.
• Allows modifying the keyboard layout through a unified interface.
• Automatically writes to hypr-input.conf and synchronizes with the active session.
• Added configuration file: ~/.config/hypr/gabeeos/control-center.ini

Layout Normalization (Complete Rewrite)

• Short codes displayed for known layouts: latam, es, us.
• For all remaining layouts, the clean language name is used without parentheses: Swedish (Sweden) → Swedish Swahili (Kenya) → Swahili
• Removed fixed-length trimming.
• Removed arbitrary truncation: the full language name is now preserved.
• Uniform output compatible with Waybar and gabeeOS Control Center.

Waybar → Control Center Integration

• The custom/kblayout module now opens the Control Center on click.
• Scroll and secondary click continue to rotate layouts using the existing script.
