g-auto Version 1.3 g-auto provides an autocorrelator for VLBI data. The correlations are performed on the GPU, so that the CPU-Disk based recorders can continue to operate whilst the autocorrelations are generated. The autocorrelator can form very many channels, form all four stokes, plot the autocorrelation, write out a FITS file, interpret LBA and Mk5B data, accept data via a port, and can operate in real time up to data rates of 512 Mbps on a 9800GT. Update 1.1 allows Mark5B data to be received via the network port (previously thisonly worked for LBA data). Update 1.2 improved the presentation of the accumulated data, as a plot in addition to writing to the fits file. Update 1.3 fixed a total bug in the cross correlation code. I doubt if it really worked before. Requests for additional features are welcome. The code was largely written by Robert McMichael under a nVIDIA-supported iVEC scholarship at the University of Western Australia. The PGPLOT and CFITSIO libraries are required, in addition to the usual CUDA ones.
