Fast Wipe Files

Fwip, wipe files and free hd space

Did you know that when you delete confidential files from your hard disk, the contents keep into your hd free space?
Did you know that some foresyncs programs are capable of recover your deleted files from your hd? such as photorec?
If you destroy phisical confidential documents, why dont do the same with confidential files that we wont use again?
Current wipe programs are very slow. What to do if you need to wipe 40Gb? I created Fwip for this purpose, to make faster that kind of tasks.
It works from command line for windows and linux os. Even you can check the source or rebuild the binaries if you want. And.. the better, its FREE SOFWARE!

You will find two binaries in Fwip:

	+ fwip - Free hd space wipper.
		 This program, basically, creates a very big file (fwip0000.000), that will overwrite all your free hd space, making very difficult the recover of that data. 
		 
		 Parameters:

		+ number of rewrites, swapping writes of 0xff, random data and 0x00 
		+ Disk to free space wipe: Windows for ex. c:\ , linux f.ex. /

	note: I recommend not tu use your pc while the task of free space wipe is running, because some files that are created or rewritted on disk, can result in data loss.

	+ wipe - Wipe files and his content.
		This program, rewrites the contents of files and delete them after. Directories are removed recursively also.

		+ number of rewrites, 0xff, random data, and zero.
		+ files or directories to wipe recursively.
