Its a little cumbersome to work with when running debug builds, as it can create huge project files and load libraries. In "Release" mode, it will strip down to a more reasonable size. I wound up creating a facade DLL that only called the routines I needed so I could speed up development cycles. For prototyping multimedia projects its OK - I recommend bench-marking and replacing any performance atrocities you find.after your basic pipelines are flowing.

Great project! I really hate to be forced to use privative software. The bad thing is that the API is still uncomplete, the good thing is that people can help to get the full API.

Its open-source. if you don't like it, help fix it, or stay with your closed up spintel BS.
