** FRAFS AVI Info ** - AVI info viewer, especially for Fraps users - Not endorsed or approved by Fraps (Beepa Pty Ltd) - Version 13-Jun-2013 by raffriff (Lindsay Bigelow) - Copyright (c) 2013 (GNU General Public License) http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html - discussion at frapsforum.com http://frapsforum.com/ - based largely on source code from VirtualDub http://virtualdub.sourceforge.net/ - credit for main icon to ZMan3 http://zman3.deviantart.com/gallery/ - other icons from the Open Icon Library http://openiconlibrary.sourceforge.net/ This library is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation; either version 2.1 of the License, or (at your option) any later version. This library is distributed in the hope that it will be useful, but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. See the GNU Lesser General Public License for more details. PURPOSE: For support purposes, this program gathers some relevant facts about an AVI video file - such as: * resolution * frame rate * color model * bit rate * number of dropped frames USAGE: Simply drop any AVI video file onto the program window. A text report will appear. Click the Copy button to copy report the to the clipboard. NEW IN VERSION A feature has been added that creates a basic Avisynth script to play the AVI file. This is useful as a simple drag-and drop script maker. In addition, Avisynth now has access to the approximate time-of-day information for the video, for use in ShowSMPTE() for example. For more information, search the Web for "Avisynth ShowSMPTE" This feature is enabled through the Options dialog. Once enabled, a new script is generated every time you open an AVI file. The Options dialog lets you specify a script to Import so you can add your favorite filters automatically. APPRECIATION: Core functions based largely on source code from VirtualDub by Avery Lee. To the extent that this application works correctly, it is due to VirtalDub. To the extent that it fails, the blame goes to me. Some changes were made, both due to my imperfect translation from C to VB.NET, and due to my particular Fraps-centric needs. http://virtualdub.sourceforge.net/ VirtualDub is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL). Multiple Languages: Users can contribute their own translations for all the text in Frafs AVI Info. Read the the instructions <App>\Lang\-template-po.txt and please let me know if you try it. Your translation can be in the next distribution! I hope this proves useful to the Fraps user community! - raffriff History @version 0.0.0 07-Oct-2012 - stub coding (nonfunctional) @version 0.1.0 16-Oct-2012 - first working version (AVI 1.0 only) @version 0.2.0 28-Oct-2012 - first working version for > 2 GB files @version 0.2.1 04-Dec-2012 - bugfix to support Dxtory & Afterburner @version 20-May-2013 - setup @version 13-Jun-2013 - Avisynth script maker; Options dialog
