ForeSleuth is a tool for finding a process which steals the focus from the window in which you are working.

Whenever the foreground window changes, ForeSleuth displays the name of the process that created it in a list - including processes that create unseen windows.

ForeSleuth is intended to help resolve a particular problem: a mystery application on your computer frequently steals the focus from the window in which you are working.

The mystery application does not open a visible window, making it difficult to identify. The window in which you are working seems to just lose the focus unexpectedly (in other words it is suddenly no longer the foreground window) or the game you are playing suddenly minimizes.

If this problem happens only very rarely it may not be much of an issue but if it occurs frequently, such as the result of an automatic updater that runs every few minutes in the background, it can affect the usability of your computer.
