First release of FocusGeek: block distracting websites all the time, on a schedule or during a focus timer.
Download
- FocusGeek.zip: Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera and Vivaldi (unzip, then Load unpacked)
- FocusGeek-firefox.zip: Firefox 142 or newer
What it does
- Click the FocusGeek button on any site and choose Block. Every subdomain is blocked too.
- Quick add buttons block social media, news, video or shopping in one tap.
- Block all the time, on a schedule (like weekdays 9 to 5) or only during a focus timer.
- Blocked sites show a calm page with the time left and a Back to work button. Short breaks after a 10 second pause, or strict mode to stay locked in.
- The browser does the blocking from FocusGeek's rules. No network access, no tracking, nothing sent anywhere.
