I came around this (predecessor-) script years ago as an absolute linux noob and was able to set up my sedbox in a fly, without a hassle. This is the *BEST* seedbox script I've ever found. Very basic, but functional, I'd just installed a new seedbox with Ubu12.04 because of lack of an update. I'd very appreciate if someone could update this pearl! EDIT: Myself was not able to update the script itself to the needs of Ubu 16.04, but I managed to install flizbox on a fresh Ubu 12.04 install and THEN did a release upgrade 12.04->14.04->16.04. So I now have a recent system with flizbox on it. Only issue I could see so far: After these release upgrades I'd to (re-)install the package php-cgi as lighttpd was not working. Since then all is fine!

works like a charm on Ubuntu Server 12.04 "Precise Pangolin" LTS (64Bits) keep the username and password in lowercase letters :) cheers steve

Just perfect. Work perfectly with a kimsufi 2G (debian 6 64). Hope there will be updates and support for debian 7. Great job.

Can I access to root directory after installation?

I am a noob and have tried many tutorials on the internet, many auto install scripts and I was about to give up ... but a friend suggested using flizbox, I said this is the last one I am going to give a try and it was so easy to install, very clear instructions and in the end no "missing .rtorrent.rc" error all was fit and working like a charm!!!Many many thanks to the author....
