Image Flashcard Player 1.0 - flashcard4img 1.0 Create your own flashcards using images 1. Prerequisites JRE 6.*+ is required to run flashcard4img application. Flashcard4img was entirely written in Java Swing. JRE can be downloaded from Oracle at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html. 2. Support image extensions: jpg, jpeg, png 3. Save your image flashcards under images/ folder 4. Directory hierarchy example images/flashcardFolderName/image*.png 5. Any folder under images/ start with "_" is a folder you don't want to publish 6. Start Image Flashcard Player (require Java JRE 1.6+) Windows, click startup.bat Linux, chmod +x startup.sh, then ./startup.sh 7. Image naming convention: image + sequence number (1-indexed) + '.' + image extension e.g. image01.png, image24.png, image101.jpg Note: this is not required, you can name images any names you want. Image Flashcard Player sorts flashcards by name, if you want to play flashcards sequentially (non-random order), name flashcards accordingly. 8. There are some pre-loaded Chinese characters images under images/ folder. Place your own flashcards folders there.
