Rename in the list. F2 turns the row into an edit box, the way Explorer does it: the extension stays out of the selection, Enter keeps the new name, Esc cancels, and clicking elsewhere keeps it. The row being renamed stays bright inside a bordered box while the rest of the list dims, so it's obvious what you're renaming. Dragging inside the box selects text instead of starting a file drag.
New folder asks in File Labs' own window instead of the old Windows input box.
The title bar shows the version.
