Speed
- Changing folders or tabs is 4× faster (≈400 ms → ≈90 ms of frozen window) on PCs running password managers, Logitech Options, ShareX, ChatGPT or screen readers — most PCs.
- A NAS or network drive that is off no longer freezes the window for 21 seconds.

Fixes
- Files that grow or change in place (downloads, logs) show their new size and date live.
- A folder that keeps changing no longer drops your selection or scroll position.
- Moving a folder onto a folder with the same name merges them, like Explorer.
- Undo is no longer offered where it could remove files that were already there.
- Junctions inside a moved folder are left alone.
- Settings and caches can no longer be left empty by a crash or shutdown.
- Screen readers now read file names in the list.
- Updates are checked against GitHub's published SHA-256 before installing.
