This is a FMV replacement pack for the Steam version of FF8. Anyone who tried it saw the ugly filtered and noise distorted FMVs Square gave us. I used the FMVs from the original PC release, properly resized and filtered them (nothing fancy, just a high quality smart smoother correctly balanced), used the original PS1 audio (uncompressed) and encoded in VP80 at 3600 kbps.

[HOW TO INSTALL]

Go to wherever you game is installed in your Steam folder, then go to the Data folder. Copy paste the movies folder from the archive first, then check what language is the "lang-en" folder (should be "lang-fr" if your game's in french for instance), and rename the lang-en folder from the archive accordingly before copy/paste it. Congrats, you're done, hope you'll enjoy !
