Naming conventions are all over the place with this app. FBA machine is the one I'm going to stick with as the official title, so that I can evangelize Functional Behavioral Analysis.

LINUX USERS:
FBA-Machine was developed in the Linux Mint Distro (version 12) with wxPython installed. Therefore, it runs best in Linux. My suggestion is to just create a folder for the app somewhere you know you'll find it, download the tarball, and drop all the files in there. I'll package the app properly once I figure out how to do it. Until then, it runs just fine as a standalone script as long as Python is installed on your system. The actual app itself is teeny tiny, as you may have guessed by the fact that it fits in a 15kb tarball.

Umm...Linux community? Hello? Are we working on a better system for actually making packages? Is that ever going to happen? I mean, good grief!!!

MAC USERS:
Installation: Download the .zip file, unzip, and drop the app into your applications folder. Enjoy.

Your download file is huge, and I can't guarantee that this will work if you're using a pre-OSX lion mac. I only had access to the Mac-Mini sitting on my desk so, no promises. I can pretty much guarantee this won't work with a 32 bit Mac, and I'm dead certain it won't work with a PPC mac. The file size is due to the fact that the only way for me to guarantee that this would be standalone and run without the user needing to download another file was to package wxPython with the bundle. I removed all libraries for the i386 and PPC framework to cut down on file-size. If you or someone you know wants to improve on my dismal Mac support situation, please feel free to contact me at josefski@gmail.com and I will gladly provide everything you need.

Many thanks go to the developers of py2app and all the helpful posters and question answerers at stackoverflow.com. Without you, this would not have been possible.

WINDOWS USERS:
I have tested this extensively on many different WinXP and Win7 systems and so far it hasn't thrown any error codes. But you never know.... Just download the setup file, double click, and Windows will take care of the rest.

Thanks goes out to the developers behind py2exe and InnoSetup as well as stackoverflow.com and all the other great tutorial writers out there. I am truly standing on the shoulders of giants.
