ExtremeTalk(XT) is a Instant Messaging platform based on XMPP(Jabber) protocol for enterprise and organization. XT can be deployed in your local network for internal instant communicating. The latest release is version 0.1_preview, this version is not fully featured, you can only use it for evaluation, not for production environment. Features implemented: Organization structure management, Contacts presence management, One to one instant chatting, Offline Messages, File Transfer(IN-BAND). Features not implemented(But will be implemented soon): Conference room chatting; Messages log management; Client Session management. Features in the future: File sharing; Voice&video chatting; White board; Remote control; Todo list; Project management; LDAP support; Legacy system importing. System required: Java runtime: JDK 1.6 Supported OS: Windows, Linux Supported DB: MySQL Supported Browser: Firefox 4 above, Chrome Supported Client: Spark Linux + MySQL + Firefox + Spark solution is recommended.
