Exponent Content Management System

This folder contains themes no longer shipped with Exponent. Each theme is functional with version 2.3.0 or later of Exponent. These themes should be more HTML5 and Exponent 2.x compliant than the same themes in the Themes v2.2.0+ folder

  • coolwatertheme is an optional theme with two styles based on the default/standard theme for Exponent v0.9x. It can be configured by the user. This package must be extracted to the /themes/ folder, or installed from within Exponent (install extension). It is NOT a patch.

  • retrotheme is an optional theme which was the default/standard for the pre-release version of Exponent v2.0. It is based on YUI 2 Gids. This package must be extracted to the /themes/ folder, or installed from within Exponent (install extension). It is NOT a patch.

  • basetheme is an optional theme. It is a very simple, barebones theme based on YUI 2 Gids. This package must be extracted to the /themes/ folder, or installed from within Exponent (install extension). It is NOT a patch.

  • multioptiontheme is an optional theme. It is user configurable with several colors, styles and fonts, yet a simple theme. This package must be extracted to the /themes/ folder, or installed from within Exponent (install extension). It is NOT a patch.

  • simpletheme was a previous default/standard theme with Exponent v2.0/2.1 and is still being shipped. It is based on YUI 3 Grids with two styles and a mobile variation.

  • bootstraptheme was the default/standard theme for Exponent v2.2.x and is still being shipped. It comes with 14 styles and is based on Twitter Bootstrap v2.3.2.

  • bootstrap3theme is the default/standard theme being shipped with Exponent v2.3.x. It comes with 19 styles and is based on Twitter Bootstrap v3.
