Expirion-5.11-Xfce & LXQt are based on Devuan 5 Daedalus and Debian 12.11 they have no systemd but uses RunIt - it has Debian Kernel 6.12.32+bpo LibreOffice 25.2.5 - I tried to keep it as close to Devuan without too many changes other then some software/firmware changes,and added some themes and icons - basically I made this to suit my needs hopefully it will suit yours as well ____________________________________________________ Refracta Installer bug fix - hopefully as of 06 July 2025, I have finally fixed an install bug with refractainstaller - it seems on GPT formatted NVME type drives the boot files were not getting stored in /boot/efi without either copying and pasting the files manually or by running grub-install at chroot prompt at the end of installation - the command was grub-install --target=x86_64-efi --efi-directory=/boot/efi --bootloader-id=debian --recheck /dev/nvme0n1p1 then running update-grub It now works, at least on my GPT formatted NVME 1TB drive it is working correctly the problem was there was no bootloader ID name being assigned during install Cheers - GatorsFan ____________________________________________________ Thanks for downloading and have a great day If you need Linux help go on over to www.linux.org - A great bunch of people there ______________________________________________________ Expirion-6.0-Xfce is based on Devuan 6.0 Testing-codename Excalibur and has kernel 6.12.35 and LibreOffice 25.2.4 and Xfce desktop 4.20 Expirion-6.0-LXQt is based on Devuan 6.0 Testing uses kernel 6.12.35 and has LibreOffice 25.2.4 and LXQt desktop version 2.1 Expirion-6.0-Mate is based on Devuan 6.0 Testing uses kernel 6.12.37 and has LibreOffice 25.2.4 and uses the Advanced Mate Menu desktop _______________________________________________________ All ISO's uses Refracta Installer for installation _________________________________________________________ Default User Name and Password for all ISOs is user/root __________________________________________________________
