Cross-source fingerprint dedup — New Stage 4 in the dedup pipeline. Entity-aware Jaccard similarity collapses duplicate
coverage across different news sources within a 24h window, keeping the highest-scoring alert per event. Usesterror_actor_aliases.jsonto resolve "IS", "ISIS", "ISIL", "Daesh" to the same canonical entity before comparison. -
Map layer z-ordering — Split single overlay pane into three semantic panes (lines → zones → points) so conflict/sanctions polygons render below alert clusters and interactive overlays stay clickable. Synced across desktop and mobile.

Noise policy v1.1.0 — Downgrade research publications, policy papers, white papers, toolkits, capacity building, and
recruitment content that surface through news aggregators but aren't actionable intelligence. -
Source registry — Added 8 Middle East news sources (Times of Israel, Haaretz, JPost, Al-Monitor, Middle East Eye, Daily
Sabah, SANA, PressTV). Removed 43 dead/failing feeds from production DLQ. Fixed ICRC feed URL. -
Overlay color palette — Spread all 10 map layers evenly across the hue wheel for clear visual distinction on the dark
basemap. No more red-on-red or blue-on-blue confusion.
