eQip Testing Build April 21st, 2003 ----------------------- o Added support for the new Compaq PCMCIA and CF sleeves (the plus versions). o Changed from procnto to procnto-instr to allow easy instrumenting of the system and easier setup as a demo unit. o Changed /tmp from a hardlink in the boot image to a ln prefix in the /etc/init script. Can now override with an /etc/setuptmp script to use devf-ram for /tmp. o Added in libmalloc.so.2 and devf-ram to the build images. o Fixed libcpp.so.2 to be libcpp.so.2a To install bootldr onto an iPaq that has not been running QNX before, please read the docs here: http://207.198.90.123/ipaq_bsp/ If you aren't sure, update your bootldr. To do this just issue: load bootldr From the boot> prompt on your iPaq and download the bootldr file. Be sure to decompress it first just in case your bootldr is too old to do the decompression for you. Lastly, download the proper boot image and flash filesystem for your iPaq model. Type: load flash 0x80000 from the boot> prompt and download the ipaq-<model>.boot.gz file. Then type: load flash 0x100000 and download the ipaq-256K.flash.gz file. Enjoy! Post any issues on the eQip forum @ http://qnxzone.com/forums/
