EpiDoc Guidelines Archive
This directory contains ZIP archives of all releases of the EpiDoc Schema since 8.16 (in 2013) up to 9.3 (in 2021). Zip archives of the 9.4 schema and following can be found on the Release page in GitHub.
Each zip file in the list above, named "schema-8.NN.zip", contains the EpiDoc RelaxNG Schema, plus the TEI ODD and some documentation. Download this file and expand its contents. The relevant file herein is tei-epidoc.rng, which you may copy to your file system and use to validate your EpiDoc XML files. The schema in the latest version in this archive schema should match the latest EpiDoc Schema, but note that the online version may be updated with future releases, whereas your downloaded copy will remain stable.
