This was inspired by The Game of Life from the 1970s oddly enough, but it's a simulation of an epidemic. Much of what happens to a cell/person depends on its neighbors. I tried to make it reasonably realistic, with incubation periods etc. matching covid-19. Nobody dies here and there are no quarantines. When I added quarantines the spread of the virus stopped completely so there was nothing to watch. That should tell you something useful about quarantines.
