EncounterPRO-OS Files

Here is a database snapshot for Mod Level 200.  For those of you familiar with Mod Levels, the Open Source Mod Level 200 comes right after the Commercial EncounterPRO Mod Level 143.  The Commercial product may continue with 144 etc.

The snapshot is here in two different formats: a compressed SQL Server Backup file, and a executable installer.  If you know your way around SQl Server, you'll probably just want to download the backup file and restore it through SQL Server Management Studio.  If you don't know what that means, then you should download the executable installer.

The executable installer is actually part of a larger soup-to-nuts installer that installs SQL Server Express, restores the database snapshot, and installs the EncounterPRO-OS client.  I haven't gotten around to adding dialog boxes to this installer because it's not needed for the soup-to-nuts installer.

To use the installer program, download both the executable and the bat file into the same directory.  Then edit the bat file and, if needed, change the values of the DBServer and NewDBName parameters.  These will match the values that you use when you install the EncounterPRO-OS client.  The values currently in the bat file will work if you used the SQL Server Express installer from this site.  The SQL Server Express installer will install a local instance of SQL Server Express 2008 R2 with an instance name of EncounterPRO_OS.
