  • While fairly primitive in the sense that the system was first created in the very late 20th C :-) the enCore Learning Environment shows what can be done without having to rent space in the cloud. The combination of classic LambdaMOO with web technologies makes for easily created and low resource collaboration environments. I am a Wizard and the Technical Support for one of the longest running V4 enCore MOOs, Literary Worlds at the University of Western Michigan: brn227.brown.wmich.edu/literaryworlds/index.html Feel free to come by and test it out as Guests are enabled. I also maintain the support website for enCore called The Barn which is now hosted at Literary Worlds following the demise of the enCore Consortium. brn227.brown.wmich.edu/Barn/news.html As part of the Literary Worlds project we have developed a Node.js based client that removes the requirement for JAVA! The client will eventually be available at the Barn. Moo Mail Kevin in Literary Worlds for more information. Ciao KJ
