This release adds Plan mode to Codex chat and improves remote development over Tailscale SSH, along with more reliable agent launching on Windows.
Highlights
- Codex ACP conversations can switch between Default and Plan modes directly from the chat composer, with the selection remembered across sessions.
Fixes
- Remote workspaces can connect over Tailscale SSH now that Unix socket forwarding works with compatible servers that use a non-OpenSSH identification banner.
- Windows preserves native command lines when launching
.cmdagent shims, so agents such as Pi start correctly when arguments contain spaces or quotes. - Saved ACP configuration options are cleared when an agent no longer supports them, preventing stale selections from being reapplied.
