This driver has been written based on the xf86Elo.c code from the xfree86 distribution. It has been tested with an infra-red touchscreen using a serial Elo / Carroltouch IR controller, and tested on Solaris 10 (Sparc), Ubuntu Linux 9.04, Oracle Enterprise Linux 5 update 5. The driver is designed to be run from the command line, primarily to it can be used with a Sun Ray thin client. The Sun Ray X server does not load drivers from the Xorg.conf file. The driver uses the XTest extension library, so you will need to make sure this is installed. On Debian or Ubuntu, the package you will need is 'libxtst-dev' to compile and 'libxtst6' to run. Run 'elosetup' to create a calibration file for use with the driver.
