  • A great application
  • Great Tool, saves me hours of retyping into Thrudd's Trading tool. I had to revert my HUD colours back to orange though!! :-( never mind
  • Excellent Tool! Only three minor problems: 1st it takes always a little time before you can select "Add and next" - annoying 2nd the option "add most likely candidates automatically" (or like that) doesn't work. It's a shame, because I had only one screw-up out of maybe 100 entries, which was the result of a half cut line due to improper positioning of the list while taking the screenshot 3rd with each new image the System entry is lost. The log file doesn't work. Can easily be corrected in the CSV before upload, but still. Well, and highlighted lines won't be recognized.
  • Excellent program for exporting commodities data for Elite Dangerous. So far, for me, it takes about 2-3 minutes per station to screen cap all of the commodities data, OCR it, export it to Slopey's BPC, and update my commodities database. Accurately reads almost all information on the screen and converts it to text. The only thing it can't do (and this is a design flaw in the game, not the OCR program) is pick up the trailing number for commodities when the amount available in the station exceeds the space available on screen to display it. (IE: amount available exceeds 8 digits?) As good as this is, it does require some manual intervention to keep data accurate. One example is noted above. Always, always, before you export data and import it elsewhere (such as BPC) proof your work and make sure it's accurate. Note: To the guy complaining about 'arbitrary' screen resolutions, this was a feature implemented at the request of the author of the BPC program, specifically because the resolution you're using creates too many data errors.
