The issue surfaced about a week ago following a server-side change by Proton that conflicted with the app’s logic for calculating unread email counts. The bug only affected email accounts with the local store feature disabled. - Enhance the upsell ads disabling feature (#740). Feature originally enabled in v5.2.0. - Update project dependencies, including Electron. - Update packaged Proton Web Clients stack.
The Apple Silicon/M1 ARM64 package requires xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/ElectronMail.app command execution.
