ELDER
A Bitcoin meta-protocol for globally verifiable seniority primitives.
What is ELDER?
ELDER assigns deterministic sequence numbers (1, 2, 3...) to valid ELDER Mint Transactions in Bitcoin consensus order.
This creates:
- Seniority: Lower numbers are provably earlier in consensus order
- Anchoring: Each sequence provides a unique, pseudonymous attachment point for higher-layer systems
Sequences are deterministically assigned and consensus-verifiable (see SPEC.md §3 and §4 for ordering and reorganization rules).
